Specialized Clinics in the Fall of 2024

Our specialty programs consist of virtual one-on-one and group sessions incorporating self-help meetings. Sessions provide interdisciplinary care including speech pathology strategies and mental wellness support to promote effective communication.

Clients sign up for session packages for three months of 10-12 weekly sessions with the option to renew. We aim to build community among clients, running consecutive session packages with the same group of clients.

Services are provided by American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologists together with graduate student clinicians.

These clinics will start in September of 2024 with information on individualized start dates to follow.

Stuttering Clinic

Please join our individualized one-on-one and group sessions addressing stuttering, this fall.

This clinic welcomes children 6-years and up as well as adolescents and adults. We focus on the whole person and aim to foster real-life progress while incorporating numerous individualized, evidence-based approaches:

  •  Learn to regain control over your speech in moments of stuttering, monitor your speech and reduce avoidance of social communication.

  • Acquire a more positive outlook as a communicator through cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness strategies.

  • Learn to reduce negative stigma, acquire ways to openly talk about stuttering and build resilience.

  • Apply the skills acquired during sessions in every-day life through guided exposure therapy.
